Before contacting Hushbreath support: a useful checklist

By ·

A useful support request describes one specific problem and the conditions in which it happened. You do not need technical vocabulary or a long account of your evening. A few precise details help distinguish an audio interruption, an access question and an unexpected screen. This checklist turns the information requested on the Hushbreath support page into a short message you can prepare before contacting support.

Record the device and installed versions

Write down whether you use an iPhone or iPad, its model, the installed system version and the Hushbreath app version. Copy the actual version numbers rather than saying “the latest version”: updates may reach devices at different times. Check the information on your device or in the app; do not assume that the version currently listed in the store is the one installed.

Describe one sequence, from start to result

Start with where you were in the app, then list the actions in order and what happened next. Say what you expected and what appeared or played instead. For example: “I started a ritual, connected headphones and locked the screen. Playback then paused.” This is a hypothetical example, not a known app defect. If it happened only once, say so rather than claiming it always happens.

Add the listening conditions when audio is involved

Mention whether you used the speaker or headphones and whether the screen was locked. The official support page says that disconnecting headphones pauses playback; reconnect them and resume in that situation. For quiet audio, check media volume and the separate voice and background sliders. Note what you checked and whether it changed anything. Avoid changing many settings at once, because that makes the sequence harder to describe.

Separate access questions from playback questions

If a purchase is not recognised, explain what type of access you expected and whether you tried Restore purchases in Hushbreath Settings with the same Apple account. The support page describes eligible previous Breath Confetti purchases. You do not need to send your Apple password, payment card number or a full purchase-history screenshot. Describe the result of the restore action without promising yourself that a particular purchase must qualify.

Attach only what explains the issue

A screenshot can help when a message or button is difficult to describe, but first remove unrelated notifications, account details and private content. For an audio issue, a written sequence may be more useful than an image of an unchanged screen. Do not include payment card details or sensitive health information. The support team needs information about the app behaviour, not a personal medical history.

Use a short message and the official contact

A practical format is: device and versions; what I tried; what I expected; what happened; what I checked. Keep one issue per message when possible. Find the current address on the official Support page linked below; it explicitly welcomes Polish and English messages. This checklist helps you prepare a clear request and does not promise a response time or a particular outcome.
